Freshman:
Indoor: Posted top marks of 6.60 meters in the weight throw at the PSU Winter Classic and 9.68 meters in the shot put at the Reggis Poyau Memorial Invitational. Outdoor: Finished seventh in javelin throw (34.54m) at GNAC Championships ... Finished fourth in javelin throw (38.43m) at Wesleyan Spring Classic.

Prep:
Thacker participated in football for four years and in track and field for four years at Silver Lake Regional High School in Kingston, Mass. 

Personal:
Born in Salt Lake City, Thacker is the son of Kent and Catherine Thacker. He has one brother and three sisters. He is majoring in exercise science.
