Pride Set to Host Regis Spring Classic on Friday

WESTON, Mass. - The Regis (Mass.) men's and women's track & field teams opened their outdoor seasons on Saturday at Tufts University, and on Friday, Regis Stadium will be the site of their next event, the annual Regis Spring Classic.

Field events are set to get underway at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, with track events beginning at 3:30 p.m. A full listing of the events can be found below.

The event will serve as a preview of the first ever Great Northeast Athletic Conference Track & Field Championships, which will also take place at Regis Stadium on Sunday, April 29. Lasell College and Suffolk University will join the Pride in representing the GNAC at Regis Stadium on Friday.

Seniors Kate Cowden (Wilmington, Mass.) and Fred Mathieu (Miami, Fla.) will be honored on Friday as the Spring Classic also serves as Senior Day for the track & field teams. The Senior Day ceremony will take place on the infield of the track at the conclusion of the 100m Dash Finals.
