Full GNAC Release

WINTHROP, Mass. - For the third time this season, a Regis (Mass.) men's tennis player has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Player of the Week, as the conference announced Monday afternoon that Pride junior Luke Horton (Bass Harbor, Maine) is this week's recipient of the honor.

Horton joins teammates Tim Miller (North Attleboro, Mass.) and Chris Harrow (North Reading, Mass.) as Regis men's tennis GNAC Player of the Week Award recipients this season.

Horton won both his singles and doubles contests on the No. 2 and No. 1 courts, respectively, at Norwich. His singles win was a 6-1, 6-4 sweep.

Horton and the Pride will be back in action on Tuesday, completing a suspended match from September against Saint Anselm at the Regis Tennis Center. The Hawks lead 2-1 after doubles play, and singles will start at 3:00 p.m.
