Harrow Named GNAC Player of the Week

Full GNAC Release

WINTHROP, Mass. - For the second time this season, a Regis (Mass.) men's tennis player has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Player of the Week, as senior Chris Harrow (North Reading, Mass.) has taken the title this week. The announcement came from the conference office on Monday morning.

Harrow joins freshman Tim Miller (North Attleboro, Mass.) who was named both GNAC Player and Rookie of the Week on March 12 as Regis men's tennis's weekly honorees this season.

Playing in the number one position, Harrow dominated both his doubles (8-2) and singles (6-1, 6-1) matches en route to leading Regis to a 9-0 win at Norwich to open GNAC play.

Freshman Mitchell Weiner (Plano, Texas) also got a shoutout from the conference on Monday morning, as he earned a spot on the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll with a win a third doubles against Norwich.

Harrow, Miller, Weiner, and the rest of the Pride will be back in action on Saturday as Regis looks to stay perfect in GNAC play on the road against Suffolk. First serves are slated for 5:00 p.m.
