WESTON, Mass. – Regis (Mass.) swimmers Ryan Tinney and Katherine Mariano garnered a pair of regional honors, named to the 2017-2018 New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association (NEISDA) All-Sportsmanship Team.

The sportsmanship honors are a new awards category this season recognizing sportsmanship behaviors of student-athletes both in the pool and in the campus community. They will be recognized annually along with the other major NEISDA postseason awards beginning with the 2018-19 season.

Student-athletes were selected by the association’s member coaches, one each on both the men’s and women’s sides. 21 schools were represented on the women’s side with 13 honors handed out on the men’s side.

The honors came after 13 Regis student-athlete swimmers were selected to the NEISDA All-Academic Team which included Mariano.
