WESTON, Mass. – Regis College freshman midfielder Jack O'Brien (Milton, Mass.) has been named to the Pilgrim League's All-Conference Second Team, it was announced by the league offices on Monday night. O'Brien was among the league-leaders and NCAA leaders in face-offs and groundballs this season.

O'Brien led the Pride (4-11) with 158 face-off wins in 2013 and went 158-for-235 on the season, good for a 67.2% winning percentage. The freshman also added nine goals and two assists, while leading Regis with 109 groundballs. Jack O'Brien finished second in the Pilgrim League in face-off wins, while leading the conference in groundballs. He finished ranked 11th in the NCAA in face-off win percentage and was 34th in the nation in groundballs per game (7.27).

This marks the first time a Regis College men's lacrosse player has been named to the Pilgrim League All-Conference Team. O'Brien had already been named to the New England Collegiate Conference All-NECC First Team earlier this season.
