REGIS FIELD HOCKEY TEAM HISTORY

REGIS FIELD HOCKEY TEAM HISTORY

The Regis field hockey program got its start playing against opponents such as Wellesley College and Jackson College (Tufts) in the early 1950s. The principles of academic and athletic excellence are as much valid cornerstones of the program now as they were then.

The Pride compete against some of the most competitive programs in New England. In 2011, the team captured the NECC Championship for the first time in program history. The Pride reached two straight NECC Championship games in 2013 and 2014, winning the title in 2014 to earn a bid to the NCAA Tournament. In 2016, the team's last season in the NECC, it won its third conference title.
