FRESHMAN TRIO LEAD PRIDE OVER RIVIER

NASHUA, N.H. - Regis College's Aineen Callahan (Diamond Point, N.Y.), Yvonne Abate (Easton, Mass.), and Alycia LeConche (Simsbury, Conn.) combined for nine points to lead the Pride to a 3-0 victory at Rivier University on Wednesday night.

The Pride push their record to over .500 at 9-8 overall, while Rivier wraps up the year at 4-14.

The Crimson and Gold travel to Daniel Webster College on Saturday afternoon for their New England Collegiate Conference finale at 3:30 p.m., with playoff seeding on the line.

After a quiet first half, the Pride did all their damage in the second half scoring all three goals in the period, including the first two just 20 seconds apart. Yvonne Abate found the back of the net at 37:22 as she collected a pass from Alycia LeConche and beat Rivier freshman goaltender Stevie Charest (Lisbon, Maine).

21 seconds later, Abate assisted on a goal from Aineen Callahan as the Pride extended their lead. Callahan would net her second goal of the game in the 48th minute to account for all of the scoring.

Raegan Heck (Phillipston, Mass.) made five saves to earn her third shutout of the season.
