PRIDE SWEEP FIELD HOCKEY AWARDS FOR SECOND STRAIGHT WEEK

WESTON, Mass. – Regis College junior forward Kelsey Morton (South Portland, Maine) has been named this week's New England Collegiate Conference field hockey Player of the Week, while teammate Alycia LeConche (Simsbury, Conn.) has been named the Rookie of the Week, it was announced Monday afternoon.

Morton scored the game-winning-goal in a 2-1 victory for Regis over Bay Path in both teams' New England Collegiate Conference opener. Morton scored in the 23rd minute of the first half for her first tally of the year.

Leconche scored her first career goal as part of a 2-1 victory over Bay Path on Saturday September 12th. Her tally came in the 7th minute of the contest.

The Crimson and Gold return to action on Wednesday, September 16th when they welcome non-conference opponent Colby-Sawyer to campus at 4:00 p.m.
