Richard Davies enters his second season as the assistant coach of the Regis men's and women's swimming and diving teams. Davies will specialize in diving.

In 2017-18, he coached Elisabeth McQuaid as she set the GNAC record in the one-meter dive as she won the conference title as well as the school record in the one-meter dive when she finished second at the NEISDA Championships. 

Davies came to Regis after spending four seasons diving for Wheaton College in Norton, Mass. With the Lyons, Davies was a one-time College Swimming Coaches Association (CSCAA) Scholar All-American, and won the NEWMAC Team Sportsmanship Award in the 2015-16 season.

Originally from nearby Wayland, Mass., Davies graduated from Wheaton with a B.A. in business management in May 2017.
