Patrick Defoe joins the Regis College athletics department as Game Operations Coordinator.

During his time at Alfred State, Defoe was a member of the gameday operations staff. He worked with the Assistant Director of Athletics, where he specialized in facility and event management, while also working on equipment management and sports information. Defoe also spent time on projects for event marketing, community relations and sponsorships. He also spent two years as a member of the school’s wrestling program.

During the summer of 2016, Defoe spent time working for St. Bonaventure University as a member of their Athletic Center support staff. In the role, he was tasked with maintenance of the athletic center as well as helping in event set-up and break down.

Defoe, originally from Franklinville, N.Y, completed his bachelor’s degree in sport management from Alfred State in May 2018.  While at Regis, Defoe will be pursuing his master’s degree in strategic communications.
