Looking Back at Fall Alumni Days

WESTON, Mass. - Over 100 alumni returned to Regis this fall from as far away as California to participate in the alumni days of several Pride athletic programs.

Alumni events kicked off with four events during Regis Fest on Sept. 29, starting with the Tennis Alumni Doubles Mixer, featuring alumni playing in doubles matches before the women's tennis match against Albertus Magnus. The Regis swimming & diving program welcomed their former athletes back to the pool to socialize and meet with current members of the Pride before the start of the 2018-19 season.

Over 70 alumni participated in the Athletics Alumni Social, which involved lawn games, on the softball field, overlooking the men's soccer match at Regis Stadium. The final event of the day was the women's lacrosse alumni game, played under the lights at Regis Stadium.

The field hockey program hosted over 20 alumni on Oct. 20 for an alumni v. alumni game after the current team faced Lasell.

The next day, the men's lacrosse team concluded their non-traditional season with a scrimmage against the alumni.

Fall alumni events concluded on Saturday, Oct. 27, with the men's and women's basketball alumni games. Over 20 alumni of the men's basketball team returned to help the team prepare for the upcoming season.

The women's basketball alumni game saw every athlete head coach Angela Santa Fe has coached while at Regis return to participate in the game, displaying the close knit community of Regis College.

The Regis College Athletic Department would like to thank all who participated in the Alumni Events this past fall, and we look forward to seeing everyone at future events!
